Kate @ Bivouac

Kate Pettitt has been developing her distinctive style since 1990 when she studied Graphic Design in York.

She began her career working for a large architectural practice and then for York College. In addition to working as a designer for the College, she also taught design and design software to students and provided industrial training for RR Donnelley and College staff.

In 2000, Kate joined KMA Interactive Media as Senior Designer, working on a wide range of cutting edge interactive and print projects. Work was varied and ranged from identities for Creation Network, SightSonic and Impressions Gallery to design of interactive work for the National Railway Museum, Craig David and SmashHits! Poll Winners Parties and the Brits.

Kate founded Bivouac in 2002. She works closely with others in a friendly and creative environment, to offer her clients a service that is imaginative, communicative and professional.

In 2005 she was awarded membership of the Chartered Society of Designers. Membership of the CSD is further reassurance that Bivouac's clients receive the highest standards of design and professional conduct.
