Bivouac was commissioned by Leach Colour to design and illustration this bi-lingual exhibition, forming part of the larger Princes of Gwynedd project.
The illustrations were inspired by the wonderfully characterful illustrations in the 14th century Cyfraith Hywel (Laws of Hywel Dda) manuscript, held in Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru (the National Library of Wales). Musicians playing the lute, harp and crumhorn are printed to ply and cut out to form a dimensional wall.
A bi-lingual timeline and interpretive panels feature a cut-out profile of the Eryri mountain ranges.
Bivouac designed a number of interpretive panels for the Princes of Gwynedd project for sites across North Wales and Anglesey.
