Bivouac was commissioned to design and illustrate a paper-based tour for Eltham Palace, to encourage visitors to explore the story of Seely and Paget, the 1930s architects who transformed Eltham Palace into a stylish Art Deco home for wealthy socialites, Stephen and Virginia Courtauld.
The trail takes motifs, shapes and colours from Seely and Paget’s sophisticated Deco design scheme, combined with graphic vector illustrations of the architects, their wealthy clients and of course, Mah-Jongg, Virginia’s pet lemur.
