Photographs by Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar Camp
A Chance to Breathe showcased the award-winning photography of Omal Khair, Dil Kayas and Azimul Hasan, three survivors of the Rohingya genocide. Their works provide a rich and intimate look at Rohingya life in the refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh, offering a rare glimpse into the daily lives of Rohingya refugees and genocide survivors.
The exhibition filled two rooms with images. As there were no associated objects in the exhibition, showcases were used creatively to add visual texture and interest to the scheme.
The exhibition was curated in collaboration with Fortify Rights, a human rights NGO.

The depth of the showcases was used creatively, to add visual interest, rhythm and pace to the exhibition. Image © The Rohingya Centre UK
